Foster kittens needed a water bowl they would stay out of through their playing, this has solved the issue of water on the ground as well as giving them the very much needed supply away from their food so they drink it. I generally need to fill it at least every few days when I have more than about 3, I have 1 right now and she can almost go a week before needing a refill. I alos spray the whole thing with bleach (to include the spout) and put into the dishwasher once a week to keep any molds from starting, so far it has taken that well. I also enjoy being able to see the level at a glance, I have an older one for my own cat, but need to really pay attention to make sure it's full, I may upgrade later but for now they both work as they should.
